For emergencies or if you do not receive your shipment when expected, please call our office as soon as possible. Our answering service is available after hours and on weekends.
A representative from Cascade is available 24/7 for emergencies.
Before anything leaves Cascade we perform a series of checks to make sure the correct product is going to the correct patient at the correct address at the correct time.
Cascade uses national shipping services and local couriers to ensure our patients receive their orders quickly. Clotting factor is always shipped in insulated coolers with ice packs to maintain the required storage conditions. We perform shipment studies to make sure the packaging maintains the appropriate temperature during shipment.
Because of the importance of maintaining temperature, Cascade ships factor over-night or same day.
We track our shipments online to make sure they have been delivered appropriately. When delays occur we work with the patient and the shipping company to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible.
Receiving Your Order
For billing purposes, your insurance company requires confirmation that you received the correct shipment. Note that each order you receive will include two “Delivery Tickets” which act as confirmation. Please confirm that the contents of your shipment are correct. Sign the bottom of one of the delivery tickets, and return it using the pre-stamped envelope provided.
Friday and Weekend Shipments
- Cascade does not send out routine shipments on Fridays or weekends. However, in urgent circumstances, arrangements may be made.
- Urgent shipments may only contain enough medication to last until normal business hours resume.
Delivery to an Alternate Address
For your convenience, we will ship your order to your home, office, family member or any other pre-authorized location of your choice. Please let our pharmacy know if you prefer your shipment delivered to an alternate address.
