OUR MISSION: Cascade Hemophilia Consortium offers a new option to families in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana who are affected by bleeding disorders: to take an active role in their care and reduce the cost of treatment, without sacrificing quality or services. Cascade provides confidential home delivery of a comprehensive range of products, including all brands of factor concentrate and ancillary supplies, as well as hepatitis and HIV medications.
We also work to reduce the high cost of hemophilia care. As a not-for-profit organization, we charge lower factor prices than commercial companies, and we provide all infusion-related supplies and mail-back sharps disposal systems free of charge.
In addition, all revenues above operating expenses are returned to the hemophilia community through our program of Grants for the Comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Centers and Foundations in Region V East. Those grants are awarded by our volunteer Board of Directors, many of whom are from the hemophilia community and understand its needs.
